The Children's Assessment Center's mission is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community.

The Children's Assessment Center is one of the largest advocacy centers in the nation. Since 2000, The CAC has provided services for more than 50,000 sexually abused children in our community.

The Children’s Assessment Center provides a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement, child protective services, medical and mental health professionals can share information and develop an effective, coordinated approach which is sensitive to the needs of each child and their family. A unique collaborative public/private partnership, The CAC brings the components of investigation, assessment, prevention and healing together in one 56,000 sq. ft. child-friendly facility. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the staff of The CAC work alongside 45 Partner Agencies to give sexually abused children the psychological and medical attention they need, the safety and security they require and the absolute justice they deserve.
