Current Volunteers:

As you know, the children who come into the playroom are special.  They have been through a very traumatic event and that trauma effects them in many ways.  As a volunteer at the CAC, we ask you to attend  Continued Training sessions and that you read several key articles to help equip you to best nurture the children we serve.   Below are the links to these articles.

The charge for CE’s/Certificate of Attendance:

                             $20.00 Pre-registration for 1/2 day trainings. Pre-registration deadline is 7 days prior to the training dates.

Or

$25.00 the day of training or less than 7 days before the workshop.

 

*Special engagement fees will be different.

 

DO NOT need CE’s/Certificate of Attendance:

If you would like to attend the workshop but do not need CE’s/Certificate of Attendance, please contact The CAC Training Department to reserve your seat.

The Children’s Assessment Center (CAC) is approved to offer continuing education credit by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners #2762, Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors #207, Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage & Family Therapists #333, and The Children’s Assessment Center is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The CAC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
